The Manitoba Chapter of IFMA has been invited by Green Manitoba to nominate a representative from our Association to serve on the Green Manitoba Advisory Board. Green Manitoba, established in 2006, is a Special operating Agency (SOA) of the Provincial Government , whose mission is to guide and support environmentally-sound practices that lead to:
• reduced solid waste generation and increased re-cycling
• water conservation and water efficiency
• decreased energy consumption
• addressing issues related to climate change
Carmine Militano, Treasurer, Manitoba Chapter of IFMA has accepted the nomination to serve in this capacity. Mr. Militano, P. Eng is the Practice Leader Buildings Engineering for Stantec Consulting.
